- Brian Mulloy
Brian Mulloy (@landlessness) lives in Downtown Detroit. He moved home earlier this year after 10 cold summers in San Francisco. Last weekend he sailed the 235-mile Mackinac race and got a nasty sunburn. He loves to cruise around Detroit on his bicycle, Sparky. Brian also plays sub-par defense for the Downtown FC soccer team. He is vice president of products for Palo Alto-based startup Apigee. He has a physics degree from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He also needs a haircut.

"I'm really passionate about two things: technology and the Great Lakes region, especially the past, present and future of Detroit.
I tweet about technology as @landlessness and I tweet about Detroit as @michiganessay.
For my day job, I work on web APIs for a Silicon Valley startup, http://apigee.com, and at night I work on side projects writing computer programs in Ruby and hacking on devices like the Arduino microcontroller. I also play the drums, loudly.
I live near Campus Martius in downtown Detroit and, having recently moved back home after 10 years in California, I'm often at The Rink slowly, painfully remembering how to ice skate.
I have a physics degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor."
