Dare To Drink Pink by Dy Thurmon

Most people know Dy Thurmon by his last name, but his mother named him for Dionysus, the Greek god of wine. He started his fine dining and beverage career in Atlanta, where he worked for Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs, training bar staff and serving VIP clients like Mike Tyson. In Birmingham, Thurmon's worked for Frank Stitt at Highlands and Chris Dupont at Cafe Dupont. He is now behind the bar at the Sheraton, where he also trains staff on wine pairing and service. He's a member of the Guild of Sommeliers and is studying to become a Master Sommelier.
